Service Technician – Marine 2-Stroke Engines & Auxiliary Equipment (M/W/D)

Location: Szczecin, Poland Travel: 60–80% worldwide
We are a specialized marine service company delivering maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting services for 2-stroke main engines and ship machinery worldwide.
To strengthen our field service team, we are looking for a Service Technician with strong practical skills, technical understanding, and a hands-on mindset.
Your Role: Get the Job Done
As a Service Technician, you are the backbone of our field operations — working directly on engines and equipment, ensuring reliable performance under real-world conditions.
- Carry out maintenance and repair work on 2-stroke engines and auxiliary systems
- Disassemble, inspect, overhaul, and reassemble engine components
- Perform troubleshooting and fault finding under guidance or independently
- Support measurements, clearances, and adjustments according to maker's instructions
- Work closely with Superintendent Engineers and team leaders on-site
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures
- Provide clear feedback and basic reporting after service jobs
- Travel worldwide to ships, shipyards, and ports

Your Profile
You are practical, reliable, and ready to work where it matters.
Technical Skills
- Experience in mechanical service, ship repair, or similar technical field
- Basic understanding of diesel engines, machinery, or hydraulics/pneumatics
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions
Work Approach
- Strong hands-on mentality and willingness to work physically
- Reliable, structured, and quality-focused
- Ability to work in teams and support senior engineers
- Capable of working independently when required
Communication
- English is mandatory (working language on board and internationally)
- Basic reporting and communication skills
What You Bring
- High flexibility and willingness to travel extensively (60–80%)
- Ability to work in challenging environments (onboard vessels, shipyards)
- Strong team spirit and work ethic
- Motivation to learn and develop technical skills
Qualifications
- Technical education (mechanic, mechatronics, marine engineering, or similar)
- First experience in service, maintenance, or repair work is an advantage
- Experience in the marine industry is beneficial but not mandatory
