Service Technician – Marine 2-Stroke Engines & Auxiliary Equipment (M/W/D)

Location: Szczecin, Poland Travel: 60–80% worldwide

We are a specialized marine service company delivering maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting services for 2-stroke main engines and ship machinery worldwide.

To strengthen our field service team, we are looking for a Service Technician with strong practical skills, technical understanding, and a hands-on mindset.

Your Role: Get the Job Done

As a Service Technician, you are the backbone of our field operations — working directly on engines and equipment, ensuring reliable performance under real-world conditions.

Carry out maintenance and repair work on 2-stroke engines and auxiliary systems
Disassemble, inspect, overhaul, and reassemble engine components
Perform troubleshooting and fault finding under guidance or independently
Support measurements, clearances, and adjustments according to maker's instructions
Work closely with Superintendent Engineers and team leaders on-site
Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures
Provide clear feedback and basic reporting after service jobs
Travel worldwide to ships, shipyards, and ports

You are practical, reliable, and ready to work where it matters.

Technical Skills

Experience in mechanical service, ship repair, or similar technical field
Basic understanding of diesel engines, machinery, or hydraulics/pneumatics
Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions

Work Approach

Strong hands-on mentality and willingness to work physically
Reliable, structured, and quality-focused
Ability to work in teams and support senior engineers
Capable of working independently when required

Communication

English is mandatory (working language on board and internationally)
Basic reporting and communication skills

High flexibility and willingness to travel extensively (60–80%)
Ability to work in challenging environments (onboard vessels, shipyards)
Strong team spirit and work ethic
Motivation to learn and develop technical skills

Qualifications

Technical education (mechanic, mechatronics, marine engineering, or similar)
First experience in service, maintenance, or repair work is an advantage
Experience in the marine industry is beneficial but not mandatory
